The Boss is back! After 16 months training and working in Kyoto, Robin returns for just 5 days to Dublin. We have been going back and forth thinking about meals and what we could during her short stay back here. With our roots firmly here and Robin's wealth of knowledge and experience with Japanese ingredients we have worked out a menu that celebrates both countries. We have based on Kaiseki, a ceremonial meal that takes taste, textures and colours into account. We're using beautiful fresh ingredients from Ireland, some pickled, others fermented using Japanese techniques. Robin is returning with magical preserves and spices that heighten and add a whole need element to our dishes.

The meal will be a wonderful trip through a mix of Irish and Japanese cooking styles and ingredients. Below you can see the menu! We will be serving about 14 or so different dishes on the evening.

We also have some sake on the night and a pretty cool cocktail too. Seats are super limited and we are asking for a 65€ donation to cover Robin's costs and the ingredients on the night. It's set to be something truly special and unique and maybe we won't get another chance to experience robin's beautiful way of cooking for another year! So pop me a mail to to reserve a seat.

So, there it is! It's our usual deal BYO, we'd say lighter beers for the evening, but we will also have a election of drinks on the night to go with some courses so don't worry if you don't want to bring anything!  We aim to  kick off about 8.30, feel free to arrive between 7:30 and 8:30. It's all vey sociable, with such an extensive menu we can't overly accommodate for dietary requirements, but don't let that stop you asking!
